Didnt go to church as i went for tomb cleaning.
As this entry is entered on the 16th apr, some things might sound abit confusing.
Yesterday, on 15th, i went over to the Rock to pay my first tithe.
as i'm blogging now, i'm actually watching the passion of christ. i had no idea how badly Jesus was abused before he went up to the cross. i think when i go heaven, i'll go see Jesus and say thanks to him in person.
Some things happened during the tomb sweeping.
I was offering joss-sticks while Aunt1 and seline was at the side watching, insisting on not touching joss stick.
seline (uncle7's daughter, now aunt 1's daughter) asked me "are you christian? why you holding joss sticks?"
i replied "i'm christian, but this is custom. if this is religion, you shouldnt even be here."
aunt 1 overheard what i said and kept quiet.
Later on, Aunt 1 came over to talk to me, asking how's my journey into christianity?
"Same." i replied.
"Dont you find yourself more at peace? your heart more quiet?"
"same. all along i walk with god."
Aunt1 looked surprised.
Ranna happened to have witness the whole thing at the side. -_-
I just recently remember when was it that i told ranna about jesus. it was when i was going to join Boy's Brigate in primary school. i studied abit of bible there.
Ranna told me that Aunt2 accepted christ in NCC but left and went to her current church. I think how one accept christ and interprets the gospel will depend alot of the parent. i think i said before that its because of my father that i believe in grace. and i think in turn, its because of my grandfather that both my aunts believed in law. dont get me wrong, my grandfather was a good man. strict but good.
